As you know Apple is already working on their new iphone 7 and rumors are starting to spread around. Following their trend of the liquid metal the new iphone is expected to have a liquid metal body and to be the first Apple smartphone to be waterproof.
According to DigiTime, the Taiwanees company they will be supplying waterproof chassis components for the new iphone. Apparently the components will be made with a new material that they have discovered, so does that mean the new iphone will not have a liquid metal body?
According to the Chinese social network Weibo, the iphone 7 will be waterproof and dustproof, and be made similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5 this mean that apple may be going in a different direction that we have taught wi it using the new material for the case.
Also, with the addition of the lightning cable powered headphones and the previous information of Apple wanting to include a USB Type-C, we can say that there is a high probability they are planing to take out the 3.5mm jack and replace it with the USB Type-C since they are already introducing it on the new 12 inch MacBook.
